Meghan Markle is reportedly seething after rumors emerged that South Park is planning another parody featuring the Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry. The controversial animated series, known for its brutal satire and unapologetic humor, previously mocked the royal couple in an episode titled “The Worldwide Privacy Tour”—a portrayal that sparked global headlines and divided public opinion.
Now, insiders claim the creators of South Park, Trey Parker and Matt Stone, are considering a follow-up to the infamous episode, which could include even harsher jabs at Meghan’s recent media appearances and ongoing projects.
According to a source close to the show’s production, "The writers have been tossing around ideas for a second take on Harry and Meghan. They feel there's still a lot of comedic gold in their public personas—especially with everything that’s happened since their last appearance on the show."
In the 2023 episode, the animated versions of Harry and Meghan were seen traveling the world demanding privacy while simultaneously engaging in a PR blitz. The satirical portrayal hit a nerve with many royal watchers and reportedly left the Sussex camp far from amused.
Reports at the time suggested Meghan was “upset and overwhelmed” by the brutal parody, while Harry was said to be “less bothered but aware” of the negative publicity it stirred up. The couple never issued an official statement, but sources claimed they were considering legal options—though nothing ever materialized.
Now, with renewed talk of South Park sharpening its satirical sword once again, Meghan is allegedly “furious” and “frustrated” that she’s being targeted a second time.
“She feels like it’s a personal attack,” one insider said. “They’ve worked hard to rebrand and focus on meaningful causes. She believes it’s unfair to be mocked again, especially when she’s trying to move on from the drama.”
However, critics argue that as public figures, especially ones with multi-million dollar deals and a massive media footprint, Harry and Meghan are fair game.
“Trey and Matt aren’t known for backing down,” said media analyst Sarah Kent. “They’ve taken on everyone from celebrities to politicians to royalty. The fact that they’re considering a second go-round with Harry and Meghan shows they still see relevance—and comedy—in the Sussex saga.”
