FURIOUS JUDGE HAMMERS FINAL VERDICT! Meghan Markle SCREAMS As Samantha Markle Takes Final Victory

In a dramatic courtroom showdown that has captured headlines around the world, Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell delivered what legal experts are calling a “hammer blow” to Samantha Markle’s long‑running lawsuit against her half‑sister Meghan, Duchess of Sussex. The judge’s decision, issued in March 2024, handed Meghan a final, unassailable victory — and Samantha’s claims were dismissed with prejudice, meaning she can never file them again.

Samantha Markle, who launched the defamation suit in March 2022, alleged that Meghan’s statements in her 2021 Oprah Winfrey interview, her Netflix documentary series Harry & Meghan, and the unauthorized biography Finding Freedom unfairly portrayed Samantha as a fame‑seeking imposter and painted her in a false light. Her demands included around US$75,000 in damages.

But Judge Honeywell refused to buy Samantha’s version of events. In a lengthy order, she ruled that Samantha had “failed to identify any statements that could support a claim for defamation or defamation‑by‑implication,” even after three rounds of amended complaints. That includes speech in the Oprah interview, scenes from Harry & Meghan, and alleged mischaracterizations in Finding Freedom. The judge found that many of Meghan’s remarks were opinions, not verifiable false statements, or else “substantially true” under the evidence submitted.'

Some of the judge’s most pointed lines came in rejecting Samantha’s claim that Meghan’s remark — that she “grew up as an only child” — was defamatory. The judge explained this was Meghan’s subjective description of her childhood, not a provable falsehood. Similarly, Samantha’s allegation that Meghan changed or used surnames for personal gain was deemed “substantially true based on exhibits in the record.”
