1 MIN AGO Princess Charlotte SURPRISES Everyone by Saying Goodbye to Kensington Palace

Princess Charlotte has surprised everyone by saying goodbye to Kensington Palace as part of a significant family move.

The young princess, only 10 years old, has expressed mixed feelings about leaving her longtime home, Adelaide Cottage at Kensington Palace, where she has lived with her parents, Prince William and Catherine, and siblings for the past three years.

The move is centered on providing a larger, more natural environment at Forest Lodge in Windsor Great Park, a spacious country house that the family views as a fresh start after several challenging years. This decision aligns with Prince William and Catherine’s wishes to offer their children stability, privacy, and proximity to their school, Lambrook School, where Charlotte and her brothers study.

Reports reveal that while Charlotte wants to stay at her familiar Kensington home, her parents have prioritized her and her siblings' safety and wellbeing above all else. This has led to some tension within the family, as Charlotte “resists leaving her home” and “has made her discontent felt,” stirring a stir in the household.

Despite the initial resistance, William and Catherine hope Charlotte will adapt and find comfort in the new setting with time. The move symbolizes an attempt by the royal family to balance tradition with modern family needs, emphasizing their desire for a more grounded, calm upbringing for the future generation of royals.
