She Gave Birth to 44 Children At 38 Years, Never Been Seen Before in The History of The World

Mariam Nabatanzi from Uganda, famously known as "Mama Uganda," is known for the extraordinary feat of giving birth to 44 children by the age of 38—a record never seen before in modern medical history.

She began giving birth at age 13 and has had 15 pregnancies, including multiple sets of twins, triplets, and quadruplets. Her rare condition, called hyper-ovulation, causes her body to release multiple eggs per cycle, leading to this exceptionally high number of multiple births.

Despite losing six children in infancy, Mariam currently cares for 38 surviving children, managing the challenges of such a large family largely on her own after her husband abandoned them. Her story has captured global attention for being medically unparalleled today and highlights both the wonders and difficulties of such an extreme reproductive record.

Mariam's case is the largest documented in recent history with medical validation, far surpassing most known reproductive records globally and raising important issues about reproductive health, support, and sustainability for mothers with multiple births.

In summary, Mariam Nabatanzi gave birth to 44 children by 38 years old through 15 pregnancies with numerous multiples, a medical phenomenon never before seen in recent history, making her story exceptional and medically unprecedented.
